Teachers


SopiPDCAug5th (7)Gene Griffith has been in engineering for nearly 30 years. He has a degree in Electromechanical Engineering and was a Automation Specialist. He teaches and advises on permaculture, water, aquaculture and fluid power.


IMG_8131Larry Korn lived and farmed with Mr. Fukuoka for two years in the mid-1970’s. He translated and edited Fukuoka’s The One-Straw Revolution. Larry shares personal anecdotes about Mr. Fukuoka, travels in the U.S and his farming. See his One Straw Revolution site for more information.


150727-001_AEKKaren Taylor brings with her many years of experience as a permaculture practitioner and teacher, interior designer, ecological landscape designer, rainwater harvesting and greywater consultant, group facilitator and photographer.

DSC01074Chuck Burr is founder of www.restorationseeds.com
and the Southern Oregon Seed Growers Association. His is author Culturequake: The Restoration Revolution. Chuck has practiced agroforestry since the early 1990s. He is traveler, mountaineer, rock and ice climber.

IMG_7976Cynthia Care specializes in the design of elegant, edible food gardens. An educator for twenty years, she currently offers classes in in permaculture and biodynamics and has a duck flock, quack! (not teaching 2016).
